This was definitely not an easy task to install. I am fairly handy and meticulous, so that combination helped greatly. It took me 3 hrs to complete, but that was because the string was so long, when doing the top of steering wheel, that it knotted up at one point and I had to take some time getting the knot out. The string will want to twist and knot up but be patient and always keep the slack pulled out when pulled the string through a stitch.The only issue I saw with the product was on the long run at the top of the steering wheel the manufacturer used large stitches on one side of the leather and smaller stitches on the other side. The two smaller sections had same size stitching. To work around this, on one side to keep from getting to far ahead I would send the string through one larger stitch twice when I was sewing so I could catch the smaller stitch side up to the larger stitch side. Overall I love the design and class that the steering wheel cover adds. Plus it feels soft and durable when gripping.I've tried the pull over covers and nothing compares to this one so dont waste your time buying the others to only return later.

Very happy with how it turned out. Took my ugly steering wheel to feeling and looking like a million bucks. Im no seamstress or ever hand sewn before. It was tricky when starting, especially with the string wanting to twist when pulling through. My best advice is to cut string as short as you can and it will be much easier to do. Watch YouTube videos if you need as they help. If you're on the fence just get it, you won't regret it!

Give yourself time with this one. Took about 2.5 hours to sew it on, but it's worth the effort. The thread that's supplied is the only complaint. Likes to twist and bind into knots while your threading.
