Instead of using the white thread that came with the steering wheel cover, I opted for a gray thread. I wanted something that would contrast and complement the white, rather than blending into it. The result gave it a more custom, standout look.

I am really happy with the genuine leather steering wheel cover that I bought and installed on my 2021 Tesla Model S plaid's steering wheel. It fit perfectly and feels really good. Sure, there was some leg work with the stitching. Patience and some time with the sewing. Follow directions. I tucked in the leather after stitch was complete. I did trim off a little leather to make tucking easier. Looks way better than before. Quality leather and it ties in nicely with the rest of the white leather interior. I would definitely recommend this product!
